Toy Trunk

In the spirit of being tidier around the house with all of Sonam's toys everywhere, I insisted on getting a toy trunk to keep everything inside and out of sight.  Sonam loves to pull her self up on it and throw all her toys out!

Art Project!

Sonam's teacher Korrie at Nike decided to surprise us and do a art project with Sonam! She had such a great time sitting up at the table like a big girl with crayons and work away! We LOVED it, it's the best gift Sunil and I could have ever asked for, thank you Baby, we LOOOVVEEE YOOOUUU:)

7 Months Old!

Whoosh...Time is just flying by, can't BELIEVE Sonam is 7 months old, i'm going to have to start thinking about her 1st birthday party, it's going to be here before I know it!

Sonam is such an absolute joy to our lives, she has really picked up so much in the past few weeks, it's amazing to watch our Princess grow. She is officially crawling now, sitting up (with great posture I might add), she can get get crawling and get back into a sitting position, she is pulling her self up to her feet and can clime on to us...it's amazing! Sonam loves her solids, she's eating 3 solid meals a day and thoroughly enjoys it, zucchini is her new favorite :)

Buddy Caleb!

Sonam's friend Caleb came for a visit from Seattle, they had such a great time together, it was wonderful to see them interact with each other and get pretty darn close!

Baldy!

Today Sonam got her head shaved!  It's kinda a ceremonial deal in the Hindu culture to shave the head so the hair grows back thicker and darker.  Needless to say, she didn't take to it so well, but Sunil and Samir were pro's and got it done in no time.  We also invited the family to join us, but I can't seem to find those pictures, but here are a few!

Blocks!

Sonam loves these blocks that she got from her friend Riley, she loves having us stack them up for her and she will crawl over from wherever she is and knock them down!!!

Six Months Old!

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but I can't believe that our Sonam is six months old already!!! All day Sunil and I have been reminiscing about how insanely fast this time has gone...we feel like we literally were waiting for her to come, went through the whole ordeal at the hospital and now were celebrating her six month birthday.....It's NUTS!!!

Sonam has become so much more mobile, we can hardly keep up with all the changes that have happened in the past month or so.  She is officially eating more veggies, she's scooting, flipping back and forth, sitting up and low and behold shakes her head "no"even though she doesn't know what the movement means, it's already started!  Our most favorite perk of all changes is Sonam's a laughing machine, it's so heart-melting to see that beautiful smile and laugh at a drop of a hat...we could just eat her up!
